I think we can overlook few months up and down. Or even find a suitable excuse for the case of 60's slides. It's the thought that counts, besides we've no clear notions of when exactly some anons photograph was taken.
The idea came from me bitching in book thread. I wish that project well, don't consider this one is some replacement, a rival thread or anything like that. I just think it would be fine to have a thread of our best work outside of the individual yearly threads, and have it focused on work that was posted on /p/.
Obviously there will be no moderation, you may cheat, spam, moan and argue all you want. For the image of anons and tripfags that I post, I'll purge exif from pics. I'm really quite undecided on this topic. I know there are strong arguments for doing both. Copyright and exposure being the two main ones for keeping them. Do what you think is best for you. If you recognise your work, and want to be credited, post a comment. If you're curious about some, I'll try and answer. I've a good /p/ collection, but it's chaotic folder, so don't expect miracles. I'm not normally very keen on posting other peoples work, what I think important is posting work that would otherwise be overlooked. We've a lot of anons an trips that can be around only periodically, but that still posted good photographs on /p/, be it in rpt or in individual threads. I think that one of the main charms of /p/. One thing that we can do with a thread is to highlight these posters. At the same time, it can be be used as an example of taste that we have, and a way to recognise regular posters.
