How do you settle on a focal length?
I have 28, 35, 50, and 85mm primes. I go through phases where I really like one length and go at it for awhile. Then I have a time with the 28 where I wish I had the bokeh from a 50 or 85, or I have the 50 and wish I could get wider to fully fit a building in the frame.
My wife loves 50 and doesn’t share this anxiety. She’s shot professionally and has stuck with 50 for 15 years. I know it can be done
Any thoughts or comments? This feels dumb to post but I think about this a ton.
