>>4406227I don't know anything about pentax glass, but with Nikon it doesn't really matter. Even cameras as old as the FM, F2A, can take autofocus glass from the 90s. If it has an aperture ring, it works. Canon new FD glass isn't 'all good' but some of them are really good. Not as good as EF, but on film you'd hardly notice. Generally people prefer the older camera bodies because they'd rather have a metal camera body. Obviously it has fewer features and you're gimping yourself in a way, but it's also going to a camera you don't have to worry about. Picrel was taken on a FM I bought for $15 and a tamron adaptall lens that's more fungus than glass which I got for $5.
