>>3471328Do you have a camera you can swap lenses with? Just take the lens off and reverse it. Hold it up to the camera so no light gets in and you can take photos with it. If the aperture lever needs moved to hold open, tape it to hold it in position or use your pinky. Focusing is moving the camera back and forth. Short focal length lenses will have really short working distances so anything from 1/2 to 5 inches. 100mm lenses will have better working distances. Regardless, you just need to find where it is focusing out there in space. 200-500mm lenses won't be all that great for macro.
If you like what you are able to do while juggling the lens then consider getting a $10 reverse ring for the filter threads on your lens. It just needs to match the filter thread diameter and your camera mount.
