>>2710223>>2710224It's f16 (look further down the exif info), the f4.6 is the lens's widest aperture at that particular focal length.
My thought process was probably something like start at f8 which is the sharpest aperture across the frame (and more than enough DOF for that scene), but to blur out the motion in the waves and get a longer shutter speed I wanted to close the aperture down a bit. f22 has too much diffraction/softness so f16 seemed like a decent balance. And ISO 100 to maximise the EOS M's shitty dynamic range.
