Thanks for keeping the thread alive. I had some other work come my way and didn't get the chance to get back to this until now.
After some consideration, I believe that there is more than enough material in this found film collection, and my local photo archive to make a photo book on this.
But, I need your guy's help, and advice to make it happen. Im thinking of starting a new thread specifically for this purpose once I have some more pics, what do you think?
I'm thinking of launching the book on Kickstarter. Is this a good idea or should I find a traditional publisher? Are there any other alternatives to Kickstarter I should look at?
What would a good rate for the book be? I want to make some money for the time I have spent working on this, but also be able to fund new trips, and finally directly donate a chunk of money back to those who still live in the town.
I will think of more questions and share the progress in making the book with u guys. I have no experience with this, so if anyone could give some advice, insight or refer me to some online resources it would be much appreciated.
