>tfw the photography section of the local museum is closed>>3488550think about what made that bird house visually compelling to you, what element(s) of it made it warrant you taking a photograph of it. then, try to communicate those elements through your photograph. right now, I'm not seeing anything worth looking at in it. I imagine you were trying to show colour contrast but that alone doesn't make up for the dull light and basic composition. if this bird box particularly interests you, try different angles of it with different lights - could be good practice for you. good luck, anon.
