>>4149661>it's so smallA mistake often made by people who don't really understand equivalence. a 25mm lens is not a 50mm lens, it is really a 25mm lens, and it really is f1.8, not f3.6.
if you use a smaller, slower lens on FF and crop the image it's the same thing as using an MFT camera with 1/4 as many megapixels as your FF. for people with modern cameras it's 15MP at an MFT crop, mostly indistinguishable from 20/25mp MFT because that system hit diminishing returns a while ago. sometimes a longer lens is actually smaller because it's not backwards telephoto and the MFT lens is (like these ones).
