The editing I do is relatively minimal but I still spend around half an hour per photo (at least those which need it). My scanner doesn’t weigh or cost as much as a car so the images I get out of it don’t really do the negs justice, and need a bit of work to get them close to what the original scene looked like. With slides often the editing process is just to get them looking like they did on the light table, which for some images can be surprisingly tricky.
