>>3365157I didn't call them nice guys. I called them nice guys compared to Russians, which they were. And considering that a) there's no moral justification to invading and occupying other people's lands and b) Russians deported non-Russians to Siberia or simply killed them, trying to reclaim our lands was more than justified. Humane even. Had we succeeded, Karelians, Vepsians, Votes, Ingrians and others wouldn't be extinct or heading that way. Thousands of Estonians would probably have avoided deportations and murders too.
Take a look at this photo. Those are graves of fallen German soldiers, who died in the battle of Kiestinki. They fought alongside us against a common enemy. It's a sacrifice I can appreciate and I hope you can too.
>>3365159>>3365172And that's another act I appreciate. Still, it would've been better for the whole world, if Germany would've beaten Russia. After that Americans could've kicked Hitler's ass for all I care. I'm fairly sure that a lot of people would agree that not having the Russian reign of terror is better than having it. At least Eastern Europe would look a lot nicer nowadays and maybe we could still have all of our lands.
