I've decided to make a thread or two per week about 25 known Photographers and their contribution to photography.
These threads and the photographers aren't listed in a chronological manner, besides the very first one.
I probably won't be able to post all of the best but I will try to post 25 of some of the best.

Before we dive into the first photograph ever taken, let’s talk about the man behind it: Nicéphore Niépce (1765-1833). Born in France, Niépce wasn’t initially a photographer (since photography didn’t exist yet!). He started his career in various fields, including engineering, but his fascination with capturing images led him down a revolutionary path. Niépce’s passion for invention eventually led to what would become one of the most important technological advancements in history: photography. But his journey was far from easy or fast—it took him years of experimenting with chemicals and light to capture that very first image.
