>>3678515Don't let the gear put you off. I'm using my shower block right now. The enlarger could just be a weak light bulb, and it's resting on a calendar frame, atop a keyboard stand. I don't live on my own, but can still print 16x20, and in a pinch enlarge up to 30'x44'.
Seriously, decide what format you want to shoot/print , then for a laugh work out the bare minimum (and cheapest) you need to start. Buy that, and get practicing.
Here is my 4x5 processing setup. Fits in a box under my bed. Simple as.
