I think there is also a point of taste, I would say you're under-saturating to the level where there is actual grey in the image, which is probably the point, the low contrast almost faded look is an aesthetic choice.
my personal opinion I see nothing wrong with rich images, half the film presets out there usually go too heavy for me but that extra bit of color or sharpness especially with a model should pop as a still, it's where you set your line
