The big difference is that the 5D2 isn't as sharp/detailed because of both lower MP and the strong AA filter, and the default ACR Canon profile in 2008 was saturated as fuck. Neither of which have anything to do with high ISO noise.
You haven't bothered comparing any of these cameras much less have you ever studied high ISO noise in sensors. You're just repeating what you read or what you want to believe because "hurr durr newer is better, more $ is better" and it strokes your ego. Photon shot noise is not affected by tech
