You can use td3 to reduce contrast significantly, right?Correct, it's for bringing out tonality from from stocks that should have none. This "Super Orto" material is for document copying and should have no intermediate grays if developed as intended.
I found a pretty happy place with P30 in 1+100 Rodinal for an hour, but I also like experimenting and seeing what happens. I'll be trying POTA some time soon, too.
