A bigger distinction between the two exists in the *pattern* that the noise leaves. If you're processing your high iso stuff as B&W (which is very common), then the Fuji has a slight edge purely because of its more randomized (and therefore, less digital-looking, less distracting) noise pattern.
This is Fuji 6400 iso, pushed to about 12800 in the shadows, in B&W with zero NR applied. I wouldn't recommend processing this way with a Bayer sensor unless you're a fan of the theory that the universe is nothing but the Matrix. B^)
