I've sold my X100F and now want to buy in a whole system with lenses. I'm leaning towards the fuji x system as I simply love the handling, haptics, etc. Also smaller, lighter, easier to bring along everyday.
My idea is now:
X-S20 (I also wanna do videos)
XF16mmF1.4
XF23mmF2 as my daily
XF56mmF1.2 for portraits
Maybe a 35mm (apsc) manual lens when I'm tired of 23mm for cheap. 7artisan or used voigtländer.
But as the anon before me, I'm also thinking wether I should jump on FF. I watched almost all photos uploaded on Flickr and I believe the FF images render a bit different. Not only can I zoom in more and see more details but looking at it overall - it feels more 3D. The things in focus pop out a bit. APS-C looks more flat. And I like this small detail. On the other hand, the fuji ones look more natural.. almost like film. Not talking about the edited colors - but the lens rendering(?). Which is nice too. Sometimes it's like from a 35mm cinema movie.
So another option is to get the A7IV with the 35mm GM as a starter and later buy more lenses. I had one in hands and it definitely is an increase in size and weight. The lenses are bigger too. Sony because I'm not a fan of how Canon and Nikon cameras look like (body design).
So Fuji or Sony if budget isn't much of a issue? What do you think? I'm not professional but I do enjoy taking photos of my kids, some nature, some cars, street/architecture photos when sightseeing. Sometimes I print them but not in a large format.
Thanks!
