I use the opportunity to ask a question about 85mm vs 55mm on APS-C (crop) sensors. I've read that due to how lenses work a person generally looks better(slimmer) on a more zoomed in lens hence 85mm is the standard for portrait photography, but if you use an APS-C 55mm roughly translates to 85mm FF. Shouldn't the lens effect making someone slimmer be much less prominent though at 55mm? Or is it also affected by the crop?
