I was gonna start my own thread for advice on headshots but since /pee/ is slower'n horsecunts it's a terrible idea to make a new thread when a portrait thread exists.
Looking for general advice on taking decent headshot portraits. Specifically, selfie headshot portraits. Should I have a wall visible behind me or distantly out of focus? I bokeh a good thing for a headshot? I just surprisingly landed a job at a rather prestigious organization and they quite nonchalantly asked me to send my headshot for my access card etc and I don't have one. I'm probably going to use a ring light as well as natural daylight in the house (no I'm not going for white circles in my eyes meme). Can anyone lend some ideas or advice? I want this to look like a pro shot but not so artsy that I look like a h'wanker forever on my ID card.
