Conditions were horrendous, this was taken near a port town, so the sky was LIT THE FUCK UP and it was cloudy as well. I planted myself in the garden waiting for the 10 or so minute window of no clouds that was forecast. Despite all that I could get a decentish shot, drew in the constellations and things for shits'n'giggles.
Would have taken a shot of the "opposite end" of the milky way, but that direction had the aforementioned port.
Have a trip planned for next week to a place where there is basically no light pollution and no clouds, so I should be able to get some stunning results.
