>>2597868yeah I use the nifty 50 [1.8] pretty often. I also have a 50mm 1.4 but like Carlo said in his response, shooting concerts at 1.4 was a disaster, and I find my nifty 50 focuses faster anyways.
I also use a Tamron 17-50mm 2.8 whenever possible, but ISO on my rebel is meh and I shoot in mostly smaller, ill let venues so the fifty really comes in handy.
