>f/8>1/100>ISO 100It's too dark for f/8 and ISO 100, and 1/100 is too slow for 300mm and birds in general. Wide open and closer to 1/250 would have been a lot better, even if means having to zoom out a bit or raise your ISO. Being that close, even ISO 1600 would have been fine.
I see you could have gone to at least f/6.3, but assume you could have made f/5.6 or even f/4.5 happen if you zoomed out a bit. What lens?
