Am I right in thinking inverting more and reducing dev time will develop the shadows less? There seems to be some compensating action going on because this shot was way underexposed (maybe 2 or 3 stops) but there's still some detail in the shadows. In fact I think there's a bit of unsharp mask going on along the roof.
I'm not sure whether I like it or not. Ideally I'd like to minimise the halo but would that be at the expense of shadow "speed"?
