Ok guys i have looked into the differences of the 5100 and 6000. As far as i could see there are 3 main things:
1. Flash hotshoe
2. Viewfinder
3. Bigger case -> More buttons
Picture quality and technology seems to be almost similar.
1: I don't want to carry a flash everywhere i go anyways, i think the onboard flash will suffice for my purposes.
2. I really don't care about using a view finder. If i did, i think a DSLR would be the better choice.
3. This is the most important one. Since my phone cam is broken(which is one of the reasons i need a camera), i plan on taking this camera pretty much everywhere i go. Thus, i want a light, compact camera. In that regard, the 5100 fits my needs better, and the worse menu navigation is a tradeoff i am willing to take.
