It's very rare that I use them and mostly just for two scenarios: cutting reflections in waterfall scenes, and sometimes in forest scenes where it can help cut the reflection on the bright side of leaves. On extremely rare occasions I may use them with sky, but it's been a while. When I first started shooting I used a polarizer all the time but started finding the look to be too garish.
