The guy got super mad, though, and decided to grab a hold of me and start screaming about how I was breaking the law (I wasn't).
He was using one of his arms to grab me and the other to hold that dog.
I was having one of my arms grabbed and had the N80 in the other.
So, neither of us had a hand free for punching and we just kinda stood there and argued while the bloke with the knit cap and his girlfriend showed up and tried to mediate. I told them to call the cops since I figured that physically detaining me for no reason must be a crime, but when they showed up they refused to charge the guy.
I would normally just laugh at something like this and enjoy having had the experience, but I noticed a few people I knew walk past and I really didn't need them thinking I was involved in some manner of drunken streetbrawl or whatever, so I was pretty annoyed that the cops just split us up and did nothing else.
