Idk do what you want op, who gives a shit, some photogs have made their name off shooting the homeless. It's not in poor taste, when you're a street/urban photographer you do what you want, you're not a polite guy always, you're invasive, intrusive, a menace to most people.
Let's be real about this, people don't like having a guy with a camera up in their face these days, 40,50,60 years ago you had guys like bresson shooting whoever the fuck he wanted and not many people minded.
I actually worked with the homeless in LA and shot them occasionally, but i moved onto painting instead and left photography behind. It's awful t-b-h having people get aggressive for shooting them. This shot probably isn't even that good but ya. pic related.
