Three things drive up the cost for lenses:
How precise must they be.
How big must they be.
How low is the volume.
In m43, it's the precision requirement that fucks it up for them.
In MF, it's the size requirement and volume that fucks it up for them.
In FF you have that balance where your glass doesn't need to be all that precise, at least not yet, not until we reach 70+MP. And they don't need to be as huge as MF. And the Volume for FF is massive. So pricing always favours FF.
