I purchased a used Sony A7s and been using it for about half a year. Been happy with it but noticed that I have a problem with the back mode dial, where I usually change my shutter speed (I can change it to aperture as well). It just randomly starts skipping when I try to change it and lags. So I wanna change it from 125 to 500 let's say and it just lags before it gets there and once it gets there it will just randomly start skipping (500, 640, 500...).
I've read that Sony has problems with this and they suggest just getting it fixed while it's under warranty. I don't have it under warranty of course. So my options are either fix it myself or take it to service repair. I saw one tutorial on how to fix it yourself but the accompanied pictures are gone and I don't have the balls to mess around with it myself without being sure how to fix it.
Anyone had any similar problems? What were the fixes? Costs?
