the main reason to get a point and shoot is the size factor and the older p&s from the 80s and early 90s are oftentimes fuck huge.
the yashica t4/t5 is about the limit for a p&s that can fit in a pocket. compare the t3 or earlier models to it and at that point you might as well start looking into a rangefinder.
