Most aren't even doing reviews in any technical sense, besides for reading off the spec sheet and diddling with some modes between bouts of banter. It's obvious who's a shill once you know what to look for. Even back when it was called journalism and not entertainment, electronics has always been paid advertisement, at least now it's easier to tell.
