What happened, as you can probably tell, is that I was in Aperture Priority, because I was swapping between 3 lenses - a 34mm equiv, a 50mm equiv, and a 90mm vintage lens. Because of the manual nature of the vintage lens, I kept the camera in Aperture Priority and used the primes wide open, but of course, I could only let the camera work with what the programmed aperture of the vintage lens was.
My camera doesn't do an ISO 100. It has ISO Low (which is ISO 80) and it then jumps up to ISO 200. I have come to prefer setting the ISO manually rather than letting it be set automatically.
Regardless... this image was fine to me in the field, because I knew I could just salvage the shadows and blacks in post without much trouble. But... in one image, this weird green appeared on the rocks when it didn't in the other, which is rather strange.
