>>3241958It is good when I'm recording things in front of me, the quality is great, I can't be putting onboard mics onto everyone or everything I film. I probably need to buy a lapel mic system, the Rode wireless one, and use that for myself for clearer self audio. But I was after good audio for car meets, and this Rode VMP+ delivers that pretty well. The reason I asked about recording into the H1 was that maybe the audio going from my preamp into the camera could be made even clearer if it was recorded onto the H1 instead of into the video clip file.
>>3241956Car meets, car shows, cars, during the day time and also at night. I will be picking up the a6500 or else the A7Rii or Riii, or maybe the G85 or GH5 in the next couple of months to complete the set up probably, for anything run and gunning. Will also need a tripod to finish it off.
The lights on here are beautiful so far testing outside and inside, it's enough to really brighten up the subject. The whole set up is pretty convenient too!
