>>3270150>>3270151Like everyone said, your camera shake is insane. If possible, shoot in live view so the mirror is up, then use 2-second timer so you don't click the button. That'll reduce as much shaking as possible inside your camera.
Other than that, you need to work on your composition. A long exposure at night won't be more interesting just because it has light trails. Use the light trails to add something that otherwise wouldn't be there. A common thing is to use light trails to add movement and give life into your photos. See example. Your second photo is better at doing this than your first, but it still doesn't really do much because the sweeping movement doesn't lead anywhere.
