How do I get good?

I feel like I understand the fundamentals and philosophy behind it but feel like I'm just winging it every time I shoot. Lowest power, softbox, test shots to get the angle right, replace with product, fine tune, and repeat. I only have one decent TTL HSS flash and I literally just got it today.

Any tips would be appreciated.
