>>3558669It has a large APS-C sensor inside so it works great in low light. The lens is extremely sharp with a lot of character. The ergonomics are great (you can control everything with one hand). It has 35mm and 50mm crop modes which work really well imo. Snap focus mode means you don't need to worry about focusing, you set a distance you want to focus to and the camera does the rest so ideal for off the cuff snapshots.
And I've printed a ton of my GR photos because they're as good as my DSLR ones, sometimes almost too sharp so I have to dial it back in the RAW. And it's made of solid metal with excellent build quality.
I don't know why people on this board keep comparing the GR to a phone. Other than the 28mm fov lens they're nothing alike. I'd never want to use my phone for street photography but my GR is always in my hands as I walk around because I can turn it on, see a subject, judge the snap focus distance, fire off a shot, and I know it'll be in focus when I get home.
