The cost of living is considerably cheaper in China plus they have subsidised education, health care. and taxes are spent on improving the lives of everybody and not just lining the pockets of an overinflated military industrial complex and the billionaire class.
But what really sends shivers down the spines of the American oligarchy is the rest of the world can see that a country with a political system that America despises can be successful, perhaps more successful, than they are.
