Back in the mid-sixties flying was still a luxury not so many people could afford. To you and me the picture is mundane but in 1965 (or whenever it was) it hinted of cocktails, palm trees on white sand beaches, a sun-kissed horizon and other things that Doris and Brian Pleb aspired to.
Those things are old hat now. You have to take a mirror to the Temple Gates of Heaven and stand like you are bursting for a pee if you want to make your friends envious
