if you have too long of a shutter speed then the stars will trail
if you have too high ISO then it looks like shit
so usually you shoot at widest aperture possible like f/2.0 or f/2.8. Since you're focusing at infinity, all the stars will be in focus (if you have a foreground it might be out of focus)
