>>3342703I wouldn't say cumbersome but it is not spontaneous, it takes on average 10-30min to set up for a shot. It all makes sense and has a logical flow.
They are great for landscape, I use mine for landscape, portraits, and work with a few artists to make photographic based artwork.
The hardest part is that you need a lot more light than with 35 or MF, if you are happy with your dof on 35 at f8, you will be looking for f16 or f22 on 4x5.
I have a 800w/s strobe pack which is more than enough for 35mm but barely adequate for the LF
