>>3548401I don't think you really get how a Ricoh GR is supposed to be used in the wild, there is really no need for a viewfinder because there is no real need to manually focus if you're comfortable with snap focus. I do like viewfinders but for this camera it's not necessary. If they added a viewfinder it would increase the size and thickness of the camera and I wouldn't be able to use it the way I use it now. Plus I like that the camera looks like a simple point and shoot instead of a thicc traditional camera, the second you bring a viewfinder to your eye people react differently on the streets 9/10. If you have your hand out snapping shots with an eye on the LCD people don't blink an eye because they think you're a tourist.
That's my experience anyway from 2 years of constant GR use. It's the ideal snapshot/stealthy street camera. I only use my viewfinder attachment when I'm not shooting street as I'll probably be slowing down. That's my experience anyway, agree to disagree on this one.
