>>3489612>>3489765>>3489881The FM2n is a great camera, but for some reason it's become an object of cult worship and is severely overpriced as a result. It has a mechanically timed shutter, which sounds great until you realize that means the fast and slow speeds will be off most of the time so you'll have to pay for periodic CLAs to keep it running, and it's getting harder to find people who can CLA a camera in less than six months and not fuck it up. Pretty much every other Nikon film SLR will do just as well as the FM2n for a fraction of the price. I'm partial to the FE because it's small, well-built, has an electronic shutter, and aperture priority AE mode. The only one you really ought to avoid is the EM because it lacks a manual mode.
