I've got a problem. My film door release (usually accomplished by pulling up on the rewind lever) stopped working. I removed the top of my camera and manually lifted the spring but I'm trying to figure out what went wrong. The spool rod slid out of the hole and I'm trying to determine what part of it is supposed to be under the release lever. Is the lever supposed to rest on top of the blue part? Or is it supposed to slot into the red part? The blue part is showing signs of wear and it can kind of lift the lever when pulled but eventually just slides past.
