Canon has already released all you need for you to get good. Get a 50mm 1.8 STM and start shooting, later on you can upgrade the body to a 6D or 5D and use the same glass. I laugh at my former photography teacher because despite him having a 6D and good glass, his composition skills suck, he can't level the horizon or choose any other subject matter other than girls opening their mouths halfway.
