>>4145980Foveons are not inherently better, they are just different. Sensor architecture is more similar to lens choice. Do you want to take a picture of that flower at a wide angle or a telephoto one? The image has different characteristics, it's not intrinsically better. I shoot Foveon because I like the way it looks, I find it's easier to edit photos to look how I imagine them when I shoot with my Foveon than my other cameras. I think the tech is cool and that motivates me to get out and take more pictures. But yeah I've taken plenty of shitty pictures with it, it's not magic
