Not enough liquid in the tank to cover the whole reel, or you didn't push the reel all the way down to the bottom of the tank.I figured but I wasn’t sure since the Paterson tank says it takes 500ml and I put even a little more than that in there. Do development chemicals settle or something? Cause the tank would have been full as far as I can tell, but I’m newer to all this so it could 120% be user error. Just not sure which errors lol. Good thing it was just a test roll eh. I threw a 35mm into the gx680 as well for fun and used the same development method and got a similar defect, here’s how the leader turned out. It’s been years since I last did my own dev but never saw anything like this.
