Sorry to be that guy but looking for a recommendation for a camera.
I'm not looking to get into photography as a hobby, but I run an online store and have for a few years now. I've been taking OK enough product photos with my phone the entire time but now that business is better and I can make the investment, I would like to upgrade to something not a phone camera.
I'd like something simple-ish to use that can take nice product photos. I mainly sell jewelry so up-close shots are my main focus (not macro-levels of closeness but you know, close to the product).
I have a budget of about $500. I've been thinking of the Nikon D3400 but I wanted to get a second opinion or some other suggestions
