I frequently wake up at 2am and hike for hours and hours to catch the sunrise at some remote lake, Or begin hiking at 2pm to catch the sunrise and hike 6 miles back in the dark with a headlamp. For years I had a full time day job, so I was going out before/after work, or on the weekends. 40-50 hours a week behind the desk, 20-30 hours a week behind the lens and editing. I was exhausted, but chasing my passion so I stayed motivated and finally got to the point where I could quit my day job.
