Minolta MD Zoom 35-70 3.5 it’s very sharp, pretty fast, and is my general purpose everyday lens. Really great at either end so I just leave it on for casual shooting. Paid $56 for it and it beats a Modern Nikkor 2.8 Zoom.
Rokkor 50mm 1.4 is my second most used. It’s so incredibly light weight for a 1.4, incredibly sturdy, and the optics are godly. I got it for $40 and I have yet to find a lens with better sharpness, contrast, and color fidelity. I use this for when I need the most sharp shots I can get, retaining fine detail like hair in portraits etc. I just wish there was a ~35-80 zoom this good I could get such a deal on.
Auto Rokkor 100mm 3.5 is my third most used and beats all the Rokkor 85mm offerings in image quality and sharpness. It’s not the perfection of the 100mm f2, but pretty close. Both are really hard to find in good shape for less than $200-300, but I sniped mine mint on eBay for $60.
Honorable mention to the Pentax da* zooms. They’re great glass and a great value. Ended up selling my k3 though because I just enjoy film more. RIP Pentax.
