Eg. Erwitt needs no context, no backstory for you to „get” his photos. They are self contained work that everyone can appriciate in their own way, „good” art can be praised by everybody, a pleb will see cute dogs, someone else will see split toning, some fuck will see social commentary. Compare that to a shitpic of some dudes back.
